Unprepared Healer: Book 2 of Earthen Contenders

Thaden, exposed as the Contender at the top of the Rankings, now finds himself in a precarious situation. After the Assimilation System inadvertently revealed his status as a Contender and confirmed his position at the top of most of the Rankings, the Lifewarden must leave the town of Ashcleft as soon as possible.

The reason for his hasty departure is clear: with his Level exceeding 21, he is now vulnerable to attacks from other Contenders with lower Levels. These Contenders are eager to bring him down, as his defeat would guarantee the safety of their families back home on Earth. The unfair Contender versus Contender system in place means that Thaden cannot even defend himself, as any damage he might inflict would be immediately negated.

Fortunately, Thaden manages to escape those who wish him harm. However, as he travels further from Ashcleft, he realizes that he does not have a clear plan on how to proceed now that his status has been unveiled. Venturing into the wider world of Tarth presents its own set of challenges, although the primary danger lies in other Contenders learning his identity, rather than the monsters that roam the landscape or the dungeons that may challenge him.

Despite these dangers, the Lifewarden decides to begin accumulating more of the resources needed to Level-up. But when he unwittingly stumbles upon a challenge designed by the Assimilation System, Thaden finds himself completely unprepared for the consequences of his actions.

In reality, it is the world of Tarth that is completely unprepared for Thaden. As an overpowered protagonist with a normally non-offense-based Class, Thaden navigates the LitRPG progression mechanics and stats, while also dealing with the isekai/portal fantasy elements of his new environment.

This story contains no sexual content or harems, focusing instead on Thaden's journey and the challenges he faces in the world of Tarth. With his newfound status and the potential threats that loom, the Lifewarden must navigate a precarious path, all while striving to level up and secure the safety of his family back on Earth.
